Welcome to your first virtual Spanish lesson!
I've tried to make it as much as possible as if we were in the classroom following a powerpoint lesson. There will be opportunities to learn new material, practice speaking, and answer questions. You can pause the video at any point if you need some extra time!

Actividad: As directed at the end of the video, draw or get a photo of yourself, draw a birthday cake with the number of candles representing how old you are, and then write your name and age in complete Spanish sentences. Please share your finished work -- I'd love to see it, and may even use it as an example in a future lesson! Bonus: The second page of the comprehension sheet, "Profundizando," has some questions that allow you to go deeper into the material. If you speak Spanish at home, try filling this out in Spanish for an extra, extra challenge!
